About this deal

If you have used this product please leave a review, or your comments for other visitors, many thanks! You have their Airgo Pump included, equipped with pressure gauge, pressure restrictor, aluminum shaft and inflation valve securing ring. The material the product is made from is often a sign of the quality for Weekend Tents. Take a look at the product details over at Go Outdoors to get a feel for this. The Horizon’s boast a huge living area which has an enclosed porch area with multi use door or vent screen. The secondary door is oversized, so when open it creates one large living area giving you all the space you could ever need. And if you want even more space, there is an optional side porch available.

The support: There are no poles here, you have 5 long inflatable beams. This is what they call the Airgo technology with welded TPU tubes. The position of the tubes is shown with the red lines in the floor plan picture above. Deluxe Peg Sets – Massively improved Peg Sets with coded location guide designed not to let you down. The bedrooms and the living area has a sewn in groundsheet and the tent comes with a front area ground sheet which you can use or not. The downside to buying online is that you can’t actually get hold of the product to try it out first. From our experience, darkened bedrooms are always cooler, meaning you should be more comfortable on hotter nights. The centre divider can be removed to create a single large bedroom and if you are worried about feeling closed in a claustrophobic, there are large mesh covered zipped panels front and rear that can be opened up to let both light and fresh air in – the best of both worlds. The nightfall bedrooms are of a good size and have plenty of vents you can open or close the are easy to fit we left them in and connected when we put the tent away remembering to leave all the doors open to let the air out .

There are three of them, adjustable and they sit at roof level between the beams of each area of the tent. Above the bedroom pod, in the living area and in the porch. They are very easy to adjust and fit, that is unless you are challenged in the height department. Don’t worry about this though as you only really need to fit them if it does get breezy as the ample guy lines and storm straps around the tent will do the business for most of the time.

But they have added dedicated vents for extra air cross flow. So you have 4 low vents (one shown below), two in the living room and two in the sleeping area. One of the low vents. Price – as you’d expect the price of a product can be an instantly recognisable factor on what sort of quality you can expect. Whoever came up with the phrase “you get what you pay for” pretty much hit the nail on the head. Whilst it’s not always the case and there are many bargains to be had, you can as a general rule, expect the higher priced products to offer better quality than a the cheapest option. We’ll dive into the price of Hi-Gear Horizon 700 Air Nightfall Tent in more detail in a moment. Regarding the area, the tent is officially for 7 people, you have seen this in the floor plan above. The bedrooms can indeed accommodate such a number of users, but this construction is far more generous regarding its living areas.

We’re really pleased to have scored Hi-Gear Horizon 700 Air Nightfall Tent so highly, givimg it 8.3 out of 10, making it well above the average for all Weekend Tents. This is a big tent, but one person can easily set it up in 20-30 minutes or so. The official pitching time is 30 minutes. The first time pitching it was easy after pegging out the 4 corners and inflating the 5 air beams witch took about 10 mins the tent was up and the other half setup the interior as I pegged the rest out, 27 pegs around the base 26 guys. Pitching time is quoted as 25 minutes, but we recon after you’ve got to grips with it you will have this tent inflated and pegged out faster. NOTE – The first time you pitch it you will need to install the bedroom, so allow for this at your first camp. After that, you can just leave it in place like with other tents.
