Be mindful not to put your mic directly in front of a vent, as whoever you are talking to will likely end up with an awful lot of wind noise! If you are generally happy with the fit, leave the helmet on for a good length of time to ensure it is not pressing in places that are not immediately apparant. If a helmet is really pressing on your forehead this can sometimes cause a headache over time so it may be worth trying another size or brand. In terms of connectivity, the 50R has a Bluetooth 5.0 system for seamless data transfer and zero lag while communicating. The Ambient Mode button, by design, is not hard to find – it is raised and the only object above the flat bottom of the base. To me, it is quirky; and even when activated it seems to work for one or two commands then it disappears, usually until the system is rebooted. Switching from an Open MESH connection to a Private Group MESH or BT connection is very difficult due to the location of this button. IMO the better location would to have incorporated the Ambient button to perform this task.
