I’m not sure how you’ve been doing it but before the prep machine but you put 4oz of water in and then 4 scoops of formula (not the other way round).All components of the smart Learn to Drink Cups can be cleaned very easily: Either with water, mild cleaning agent and a soft sponge or in the top compartment of the dishwasher. My little boy is just over 5 weeks and we tried a size 2 the other day but it seemed to take him by surprise and it was like he was gulping too quick so had to keep stopping just in case he choked. That then takes the fluid count over the 4oz mark due to the powder being added and displacing the water. When do you know if your LO needs to move up to size 2 test, she is 6 weeks and on size 1 and takes a bout 1/2 hour to finish a 4oz bottle and sometimes sucks so hard around her mouth goes red, she also makes a lot of noice when drinking and sounds like she’s taking in a lot of air.
